Kids Relaxation Massage FAQs at Maggie's Therapeutic Massage
Kids Massage is a full 60-minute session that can include some focused work (sports recovery, sore muscles, etc.). Kids Relaxation Massage is a shorter, gentler 30-minute session focused purely on calm — no targeted work.
It works well across a range of ages — please mention your child's age when booking. It is particularly good for younger children, kids new to massage, or those who tend to get restless.

Yes — a parent or guardian is present for the full session. This is clinic policy for any minor.
We kindly request that you inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to accommodate other clients.

Talk through it briefly beforehand — a calm massage where they keep their clothes on, mom or dad stays in the room, and they can ask to stop any time. Most kids settle in within the first few minutes once they see what it is actually like.
For sleep, anxiety, or simply a calming weekly reset, regular sessions (every 2–4 weeks) can be wonderful. For occasional reset after a big event, a one-off booking is just as valid.
